Kanye brought church to Coachella when he did a Sunday Service on Easter Sunday for Coachella festival-goers.
It was nearly an entire hour from the scheduled early 9AM start time before Kanye actually appeared on stage, mixing his own songs into gospel tunes. H held it at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
Kanye also took the opportunity to sell some merchandise. Two-pack of socks that spell out “Church Socks” or “Jesus Walks” for $50. Purple and white tie-dye sweatpants that read “Sunday Service” for $195.
A t-shirt which reads “Trust God” on the front, and “Sunday Service at The Mountain” on the back for $70. A sweatshirt with ‘Holy Spirit’ on the front & ‘Sunday Service At The Mountain’ on the back in white for $165 or the purple and white tie-dye version for $225.
