CK Whittle Kaley Cuoco and Zosia Mamet were spotted filming the new HBO Max show titled The Flight Attendant in New York.
The television series was created by The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco who plays the lead role, Cassandra “Cassie” Bowden.
According to Wikipedia the series is “about a flight attendant that wakes in her hotel room hungover from the night before in Dubai with a dead body lying next to her. Afraid to call the police, she continues her morning as if nothing happened, joining the other flight attendants and pilots traveling to the airport. In New York, she is met by FBI agents who question her about her recent layover in Dubai.”
Both wearing winter coats and scarfs, Kaley looked concerned as she listened to Zosia Mamet’s character, Annie as they shot the scene in front of the Abraham de Peyster statue in Thomas Paine Park, New York. The Flight Attendant is based on the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian which Kaley Cuoco’s production company Yes, Norman Productions, (which is named after her dog, Norman) optioned the rights to the novel.
Maureen Corrigan from The Washington Post wrote:
“Filled with turbulence and sudden plunges in altitude, The Flight Attendant is a very rare thriller whose penultimate chapter made me think to myself, ‘I didn’t see that coming.’ The novel – Bohjalian’s 20th – is also enhanced by his deftness in sketching out vivid characters and locales and by his obvious research into the realities of airline work.”
The Flight Attendant also stars Rosie Perez (Megan), Michiel Huisman (Alex), Sonoya Mizuno (Miranda), Griffin Matthews (Shane) and Colin Woodell (Buckley).
This is Kaley Cuoco’s first big role after thirteen years on The Big Bang Theory. The Californian, who admitted to having breast implants, was recently spotted riding around Rome, Italy shooting scenes with Italian actor Alberto Frezza.
Kaley Cuoco, who was once married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting, is reportedly the second highest paid actress in the US according to The Sun Newspaper.
