Does Supergirl Have A Tattoo? 🐺

Looks like the Makeup department forgot to cover up Melissa Benoist’s Wolf tattoo! 🤓

Melissa Benoist was spotted on the set of the popular CW show Supergirl shooting some animated scenes in civilian clothes and glasses for Season 4.

But wearing a tweed dress, high heels, a trench coat and glasses in the character of Kara Zor-El / Kara Danvers / Supergirl, the actress revealed her own wolf tattoo as she filmed a scene.

As far as we know Supergirl does not have any tattoos so we’re wondering if the makeup department forgot to cover this up or that the special effects people will erase it out in post-production? According to one fan on our Celebrity WotNot Instagram page the tattoo was visible “in at least one first season episode.”

Celebrity WotNot was also there for the Supergirl Season 3 finale where several other main characters were pictured on set including Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen/Guardian, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Chris Wood as Mon-El and Erica Durance as Alura Zor-El. Check out our popular video below:

David Harewood, who plays J’onn J’onzz / Director Hank Henshaw could also be seen playing it cool as some smoke drifted in front of him on the streets of National City.

Supergirl could finally be seen shouting over at someone trying to warn them about the danger as well as laughing in between scenes.

Supergirl is usually fighting crime on the streets of National City but it was her costume that was fighting the elements as the windy weather gave onlookers a flash under the Supergirl costume on Season 3 of the show. On our close up picture, the tattoo could be seen on her left wrist which is a silhouette of the wolf. She explained on Twitter: “I’m actually part Native American, and this is a symbol from the tribe I am descending from.”

Melissa Benoist also used one of OUR Celebrity WotNot pictures on her own Instagram page to announce her return to Supergirl Season 4. Check it out below:

Melissa Benoist Trivia: Melissa Benoist also has a tattoo of a bicycle on her left foot after only learning to ride one when she was 18.
