Peter Mathew American History X actor Edward Norton dropped $11.8 Million on an unusual Malibu Colony oceanfront house which ended up being a bargain after the seller originally had the house listed for $22 Million.
Edward Norton bought the house from architecture collector and movie producer Michael LaFetra.
The five-bedroom, five-bathroom house on the beach in the exclusive and gated Malibu Colony which is home to an array of celebrities and stars who have graced the community over the years, including Jim Carrey, Pamela Anderson, and Jason Statham.
The house was on the market for almost 4 years and was originally listed in 2013 for $13.5 Million.
Architect John Lautner created the concept for the home in 1968 with the original design of the house resembling waves.
The Academy Award Nominated Actor bought the 3,366 square-foot house this summer which features a family room, wet bar, fireplace, swimming pool, and 37 feet of coveted beach front.
