CK Whittle The British Royal family shared an adorable picture via the Kensington Palace Instagram page of Prince George’s first day at school!
Wearing an adorable uniform the 4-year-old future king held hands with his Dad, Prince William! On the Instagram post, it read: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a photograph of The Duke and Prince George at Kensington Palace this morning. The image was taken by @chrisjacksongetty shortly before Prince George left for his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea.”
It continued “Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to share this lovely picture as Prince George starts school, and would like to thank everyone for all of the kind messages they have received.”
It has been a busy week of announcements for the Royal couple as The Duke and Duchess also announced they are expecting their third child!

They also posted a video of Prince George’s first day of school and put that on Instagram as well!
Prince George arrived at the Thomas’s Battersea with Prince William which is an £18,000-a-year preparatory school in London.

Prince William and Prince George were greeted by Helen Haslem, head of lower school, with the young prince shaking her hand!
Prince George Trivia: According to the BBC “The uniform for Thomas’s Battersea is only available at the Peter Jones department store in Sloane Square or from the second-hand uniform shop at the school.”
