Connor Claire From Peter Farrelly, the 1/2 the writer/director team who bought us Dumb & Dumber as well as There’s Something About Mary, comes Green Book (& its fantastic trailer!). Shot in New Orleans, Green Book takes its title from ‘The Negro Motorist Green Book‘, a guidebook which was published annually from 1936-1966 and listed businesses that served black customers. Based on a true story, the film follows a NY nightclub bouncer (Viggo Mortensen) who takes a job as pianist Don Shirley’s (Mahershala Ali) chauffeur during a tour in the Deep South.
It is scheduled to be released on November 21, 2018.
