Connor Claire John Cho of American Pie, Star Trek, and Harold & Kumar fame took selfies with fans and promoted a brand new and somewhat unexpected film at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Cho stars in the thriller Search which takes place entirely on computer screens as a father traces his missing daughter.
Search (2017) is written and directed by Aneesh Chaganty, whose two-minute short film Seeds became an internet sensation after garnering more than one million YouTube views in 24 hours. Chaganty’s new film has already been snapped up by Sony Worldwide Acquisitions at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
John Cho Trivia: Cho portrayed Mark Chao in the Charmed episode Dead Man Dating (Season 1, Episode 4). He was the first ghost and the first good magical being the magical Charmed ladies encounter.
