It was triple the trouble for Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon who appeared on the cover of the latest ‘Vanity Fair’ with an extra appendage each.

The stars posed for the annual Hollywood special edition of the magazine but suffered a massive photoshop fail when Oprah was given three hands and Reese, seemingly an additional leg!

The publication initially light-heartedly defended themselves when fans pointed out Reese’s body error on the cover – which was shot by Annie Leibovitz – saying the apparent third leg was actually “the lining of her dress”.

But there was no denying Oprah’s hand issue in a shot that’s since been removed from the Vanity Fair website.

Fortunately, the outlet was able to laugh about the error and took to Twitter to write: “As for @Oprah, how can we expect her to juggle it all with just two hands?”

The A-listers made light of the incident themselves, joking about it on social media: “Well…I guess everybody knows now…I have 3 legs,” wrote Reese. “I hope you can still accept me for who I am. (and I will never apologize for snuggling @Oprah…if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it;)” Oprah – who had her arms around Reese in the snap – replied: “I accept your 3rd leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand.”
