Connor Claire Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in India over the weekend. The couple held two days of nuptials at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Rajasthan, India. Check out our inside video below:
For their western ceremony, held on Saturday, Chopra and Jonas wore Ralph Lauren, and in the case of Jonas, that meant a simple black tuxedo with one hidden addition: a press release from Ralph Lauren noted that a piece of lace from Chopra’s gown was included inside his lapel, with the words “My Jaan” embroidered on it. “My Jaan” means “my life.”
The sheer top gown of Chopra’s Ralph Lauren dress was embroidered with over two million mother of pearl sequins. Among the embroidery were a variety of phrases, including the name “Nicholas Jerry Jonas.”
For Sunday’s Hindu ceremony, Chopra sported a sparkling crimson sari alongside Jonas, who wore a pale gold ensemble, complete with turban. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner was also in attendance with Nick’s brother, Joe with both of them posing for a family picture together. Sophie Turner wore a sparkling peach and gold lehenga designed by Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
